SEO is actually optional.
So it turns out that as long as you're a very creative writer, you may not have the need for SEO that much. Though it will still be better if you do. There's this guys that I know that does not really use SEO for his site. But he has really catching articles and excellent titles that always put his site on the upper portion of the results in search engines. Can you believe that? And its true.

I know some people that have blogs in blogger.com I think? And they said that they do not really use SEO for their site/ blog. They just continue to write and write and write many content about their website and viola! They get more visitors everyday visiting their blog. Because when people also types some of the keywords or phrases on their site, that's what takes the visitors to them. Cool huh?

Blog writing is a good way of Search Engine Optimization, but actually you can do and learn SEO for free by your self and no need to hire one..

I agree with you. Content is always king. If you have great content in you website, just a normal SEO effort will get you nice traffic or even sales (in case you are selling products or services on your website).

Yup, that is correct. Specially if many of the keywords in your content are being searched all the time by those who are searching in search engine. That would likely lead them to your site. Its good to know both SEO and good content writing but you can really survive with just one of the two if you're good at it.
